Multi Species Spaces

Our interest was to take an alternative perspective on ZWHATT, focusing on overlooked qualities in the existing. Specifically, we wanted to investigate how it could offer a habitat not only to humans but also animals, plants and other living beings. Starting from the two existing courtyards, which already offer a lot of qualities, we tried to create spaces of appropriation for the non-human: courtyards only accessible for them, new passages, habitable facades and rooftop gardens showing how human and non-human can benefit from each other. The existing as a potential place for multiple uses and users.
