HIL

The university of the future is a place, where knowledge is exchanged and all can learn and benefit from each other.

Non-interactive frontal teaching will be a thing of the past, giving way for hands-on-experience linked at an interdisciplinary level.

Therefore, a range of flexible spaces shall be provided that can easily adapt to shifting needs and growing student numbers by bringing together people with the same interests and fields of research. Within this process, the number of unvacant spaces should be drastically reduced, allowing for a more efficient use of the square meters already built. In Terms of our project - the HIL - this should result in all architecture students being housed under one roof, reuniting the departement at Hönggerberg.
